IMA at The University of Tampa

Professional Business Networking

With an ambition to excel in life, and capitalize on every single opportunity one’s college career has to offer. A small group of students decided to take leadership into creating The University of Tampa’s very own chapter of the IMA. Their goal was simple in concept, and driven by pure ambition and desire to propel in their professional careers after college.
The club took off in full speed, hosting exclusive meetings with the most elite business firms in the area, including the distinguished ‘Big 4’ accounting firms.
What separates the UT IMA from other larger collegiate business organizations is that, we maintain a very respected and loyal professional relationship with every business speaker we invite. In doing so, the respect and loyalty is reciprocated with them personally helping members of our club to start on the career paths of their highest ambition.

I was asked to join IMA with an Executive Position as Marketing Director. My main responsibility includes developing a marketing strategy to grow the organization's online presence with a goal of attracting more young professionals at UT. Since joining IMA, I have created newsletters, actively recruited new members, managed social media accounts, designed social media content, and developed email campaigns.
